Sometimes things come together in the most unusual way. After viewing the Tibetan Monk exhibit at the Benton Museum last year, I was deeply moved by the transitory beauty of the sand mandala and was inspired to change the focus of this site from graphic design to creative arts. The mandala made me realize that if you move too quickly and don't take care in noticing each blade of grass, you might miss things that are important. And if you wait for your muse to come in order to allow creativity to out, you may never have the chance to express what is inside your heart.

This is a place to share my creative work as well as a way to reconnect with the art spirit inside of us all. The site will grow and change to encompass my interests: art, creativity, mixed media, book arts, bookbinding, photography, collage, scrapbooking, quilt art, drawing, painting, and design. The companion blog contains new explorations to complement and enhance the web site.
